Yes!

Guess what?! I’m super excited. My grandmother’s neighbor was able to retrieve my progress on the second novel of the Colors That Bind  trilogy.Crimson Desire. I also have the word perfect disc so I can set that up on my computer (probably tomorrow) and start more progression on that series as time and muse permit. I’m pretty excited about that. I have so many ideas for the third book, however, that I’m going to have to slow myself down a little bit and make a meaningful, well rounded second book before I reach that point.

I may be biased, but I have to say the third book is going to be awesome!

Also on my facebook fan page I have reached 100 likes. To celebrate this I am doing a super cool giveaway where you can get one of these super cool prizes. A signed copy of the debut novel (due out in October) Amethyst Epiphany, a piece of my handmade jewelry, a photo print, a magazine or pamphlet with one of my poems in it signed on the page where my poem appears, or an autographed photo of yours truly. To enter the giveaway all you have to do is be a fan of my facebook page, it’s that simple. Go here for more details:   https://www.facebook.com/pages/Linda-M-Crate/129813357119547?sk=app_228910107186452&app_data.

I’m super excited to share my writing with you all, and I can’t wait to do book signings and all that fun stuff. I imagine it’s going to be very exhausting, but also very rewarding. I’m a shy person by nature, but I do like getting out and about sometimes. Not all the time, though, that would cut into writing time. 😉

I can’t wait for you all to get and know Calliope and all her crazy friends. It’s going to be an epic adventure. What are your favorite novel adventures thus far?

Another Drop In the Bucket

I’m not sure where this lovely photo came from, but it reminded me strongly of my upcoming novel. I thank the artist for their lovely abilities, and I hope they don’t mind me posting this straight from google.

It’s almost hard to believe, even still, that my novel is getting published. Amethyst Epiphany was a novel I birthed in six months when I was working as a telemarketer. It’s crazy to think that soon it’s going to be an actual book in people’s hands. Many of my coworkers have vowed not only to buy one but several copies of my novel. They help me get more and more excited as this process goes on.

My editors keep teaching me new things about writing and the editing process as I go along, and the fun truly seems to be starting. I’m so, so very excited to be among the author’s in their fine crew.

Can’t wait to see my novel in print. Maybe then I will realize that this dream is becoming slowly a reality.

& I can’t wait to work and continue working on the sequels.
